Summer Days

The sun torched my skins,

Warming my cold soul

As I soak in the pool.

Red droplets begin to discolor the water.

I glare at your paling body.

The blood is slowing draining from you,

Causing the pollution in the pool.

I let out a sigh,

I need to clean up this mess.

God, I knew I should’ve fed you to the farmer’s pigs.
